Important Warning About Toll Violations: Toll tag will become INACTIVE if not registered within 7 business days from the date it is first used to pay tolls, or if the prepaid toll balance becomes negative. If you drive through a toll both after the toll tag has become inactive, you will be in violation of California Vehicle Code 4770 and any other applicable law. If violations occur, you will be subject to all fees, fines, and penalties as provided by law. If violation notices are unpaid, the violation will be turned over the Department of Motor Vehicles and a hold will be put on your vehicle registration renewal until all fees and fines are paid.
